  • Brand Defence Strategy

Wiith distribution costs becoming more and more expensive, it is vital that hotels engage in a brand defence strategy that increases their share of direct online bookings and reduces the amount of bookings coming from online travel companies. This in turn reduces distribution costs and gives the hotel a direct relationship with more and more clients. This is just one element of digital marketing that we can help you to implement.

  • Ryanair New Routes

Ryanair has announced plans to operate three new services from Ireland West Airport in Co Mayo. The airline’s deputy chief executive, Michael Cawley, said the development will bring an extra 80,000 passengers through the airport in 2014. New services from Knock to Eindhoven in Holland, Kaunas in Lithuania and Glasgow Prestwick will begin next April.

Ryanair is also planning to offer more flights to London, with two additional flights to the city from Knock each week. At a press conference at the airport this morning, Mr Cawley said the additional services were a direct response to the Government’s decision to reduce the travel tax to zero in the Budget. Today’s announcement comes after the company unveiled plans to operate eight new services from Shannon Airport last week.
Mr Cawley said Ryanair would bring at least one million extra passengers into the country next year.
